The Miami Heat jumped out to a 41-19 lead after the first quarter on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers. And while the Heat did go on to win, it wasn’t until after they coughed up a seemingly insurmountable lead before regaining it late for the win.
Despite that alarming let-up, the Heat, more specifically LeBron James, was talking about a highlight-reel play after the game.
James was the beneficiary of a gorgeous full-court alley-oop pass from fellow superstar Dwyane Wade in the one-sided first quarter. As pretty as it was, LeBron blew it out of proportion after the game on Twitter with some king-sized hyperbole.
“Great win for us tonight in Indy! [Wade] went Ham tonight and probably threw the best pass in NBA history. Check it out”
Best pass in NBA history? Not likely.
