It takes something pretty special for French league basketball to make headlines, but Jamal Shuler has done exactly that.

Up 73-72 with six seconds left, Shuler, a former VCU Ram, was at the line for a pair of pivotal free throws. He came up empty, and Limoges executed the fast break to perfection, resulting in a Karim Souchu bucket with 1.4 seconds to go.

Shuler, though, got his redemption, draining a buzzer beater from beyond half-court, and sending the players, fans and French announcers into a frenzy — 76-74, final.
