Jed Lowrie’s Shot Looks Promising, But Falls Just Short of Second Base Cup Standings

Jed Lowrie had quite the fan base building during his Second Base Cup appearance, but it wasn't enough to help him crack the leaderboard.

Scott Atchison's 3-year-old daughter, Callie, was cheering for Lowrie to surpass her father's fifth-place mark, but the infielder finished just a few feet short of manager Terry Francona, who currently rests in sixth place.

With just two days to go, Kevin Youkilis remains the frontrunner for the coveted Second Base Cup, which will be awarded on Friday during Red Sox Live.
