David Harris may have felt a little left out when Darrelle Ravis, Nick Mangold and D'Brickashaw Ferguson all received extensions prior to the 2010 season.

On Tuesday, however, Harris was given millions of reasons to smile as the Jets placed the franchise tag on the 27-year-old linebacker.

In doing so, Harris will be making $10 million in 2011, according to the New York Daily News.

This is the first time the Jets have used the tag since 2006 when they placed one on defensive end John Abraham, who was then traded to the Falcons later that offseason.
