It was only a matter of time until former Red Sox pitching coach John Farrell got a job managing a big league team.

Now that he's made the leap to Toronto, Farrell is getting rave reviews from his new team. According to second baseman Aaron Hill, the Jays' new manager called every last player on the roster to introduce himself and to say that he was excited for the year ahead.

"I've heard nothing but great things about him," Hill said of Farrell. "He's a real down-to-earth guy, very approachable, loves the game of baseball, very knowledgeable, and it's going to be fun going forward with him."
