Marc Savard and Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. at the TD Garden on Monday afternoon.
Though the team has yet to make an official announcement, it was reported over the weekend that Savard's season is over.
The 33-year-old forward suffered a concussion in Colorado on Jan. 22, his second concussion in a span of 11 months.
NESN will air the news conference live at 2 p.m.
