Rima Fakih, the 2010 Miss USA winner, will be a contestant on the USA Network’s WWE Tough Enough, a reality show in which a group of wrestling hopefuls battle it out for a professional wrestling contract.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to battle for a title in an entirely different competition,” Fakih said in a press release. “Miss USA is an incredible honor that’s provided invaluable experience which will undoubtedly help me as I push my performance and athletic skills to the limit. I look forward to learning if I have the mettle to make it in WWE.”
Clear your Tivo, because the series will premiere Monday, April 4, at 11 p.m. ET, the day after WrestleMania XXVII.

Quote of the day
“A lot of people wanted to see props and that stuff, I guess. But I think if you’re creative enough to come up with a dunk to get people on their feet, do that. It seems like people are just going to start selling it now, to see what people can jump over. I could see someone bringing a giraffe to jump over, or something like that. … Maybe somebody will use a trampoline.”

Here’s a good response to those upset with Derek Jeter for building a $7.7 million home.
“Seriously. People struggling to make ends meet and keeping a roof over their heads has nothing to do with Jeter (or any sports figure for that matter) building a house. Guess what, even if he built a house for $100,000, those same people would be struggling. You must be one of those ‘share your wealth with me’ idiots. It’s his money to do with as he pleases and he does not owe an apology for his lifestyle to anyone.”
