7:09 p.m.: Teams are still looking to get help on the blue line, and Florida's Brian McCabe may be an option for that.
As TSN's Bob McKenzie reports, teams have expressed interest in McCabe, but that he also has a no-trade clause.
Complicating that, though, is that McKenzie says he's also heard that the Panthers are not likely to bring McCabe back next year, so whether or not that affects his use of the NTC will have to be monitored.
3:08 p.m.: While we're all looking for trades, other options remain. The B's are taking advantage of that with a tryout for Shane Hnidy. "The Sheriff" played a season and a half for Boston and would come cheap.
1:32 p.m.: Peter Chiarelli is happy his team got its work done before the long, six-game road trip that has the team very far from home.
"We wanted to get our moves done before our western trip," the Bruins' GM told Sportsnet's Mike Brophy. "We wanted to be ahead of the curve so our players could get acclimatized with one another. Also, I think the prices change at the deadline. You don't want to end up overpaying for a need you have identified by waiting to long."
Joe Colborne may turn out to be a big loss, but if Chiarelli can sign Kaberle to an extension, it'll undoubtedly be a worthwhile trade for Boston.
1 p.m.: The Colorado-St. Louis trade from last week has drawn its fair share of analysis, but none quite like that from Peter Stastny.
The father of Paul Stastny lashed out at Colorado GM Greg Sherman on KMOX in St. Louis.

I should not have said this, but I'm so, so mad what they’ve done to this team. They’ve moved the team about two to three years back again."

12:11 p.m.: Brad Richards' recovery from a concussion is likely to be the only reason he doesn't get traded.
Joe Nieuwendyk is gauging interest around the league in the soon-to-be UFA, but you can't imagine many teams would be willing to give up much for a guy who hasn't played since Feb. 13. In the "old" NHL culture, Richards might not have even missed much playing time, so his extended absence shows the league is at least growing in awareness and safety.
10:50 a.m.: The Flyers are leading the Eastern Conference and have been for quite some time. That's enough for general manager Paul Holmgren to feel comfortable with his team as it is currently constructed.
"I like our team," Holmgren told The Delaware County Daily News. "If something would come up that would make our team significantly better, we could do something. I don't know. More than anything, if we have a chance to add some depth, we might do that."
That means you better be good this spring, Sergei Bobrovsky.
10 a.m.: There's been significant movement in the league thus far, but big names still remain.
NHL Network host David Amber sees Sergei Gonchar, Alex Kovalev, Stephen Weiss, Chris Neil, Dustin Penner and Tomas Vokoun as the biggest names that will draw interest over the next few days. Given the way Ottawa's been dumping everyone on the roster, you can expect Kovalev and Neil to be on the move soon.
9:15 a.m.: As the deadline draws nearer, teams are running out of time to make their big move.
While the Bruins may have already made theirs, there still remains the outside possibility that they swing a deal for a superstar goal-scorer before Monday's deadline. With each Toronto victory, you have to think that prospect becomes more and more tempting for general manager Peter Chiarelli.
The Bruins, of course, own the Maple Leafs' first-round pick in this year's draft, which, at the moment, would be a lottery pick. However, Phil Kessel — the man who netted the B's that pick — did his best to limit that pick's value by scoring the game-winner against the Islanders on Tuesday night.
