Red Sox Pitchers and Catchers Take Part in First Workout Under Sunny Florida Skies (Photos) With every passing day, we get closer and closer to new signs that tell us baseball season is almost here.

First, there was truck day. Then, it was time for pitchers and catchers to report to spring training. And on Tuesday, Red Sox fans got their first look at the team in uniform, on the field doing baseball things.

Pitchers and catchers reported to the practice fields on Tuesday for the first official workouts of the spring.

Pitchers got some throwing in, while also getting the chance to show off their defensive prowess with some fielding drills. Catchers, on the other hand, started to get their work in as well, including taking part in drills involving some mini baseballs.

There were new faces as well as the same familiar faces. Above all, though, there was baseball.
