Even during spring training, excitement is running high for Red Sox-Yankees matchups, and tickets to see the rivalry won’t come cheap.
According to a recent report by Forbes, the March 14 matchup at City of Palms Park featuring the AL East heavyweights feature the most expensive seats during this years’ spring training across the MLB.
Seats in one field box in particular are selling online for $750, and many other seats nearby are in the $100-$200 range.
If you have your heart set on seeing the Yankees and the Red Sox square off before the regular season, you may have better luck for the March 4 matchup at Steinbrenner Field. The most expensive ticket for that game tops out at $500.
The Forbes’ list included the 10 most expensive games during spring training. Other teams on the list include the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants, the Phillies, Dodgers, Twins, Rockies, and Astros.
