The frontcourt injury issues just keep getting worse for the Celtics.

According to CSNNE.com, center Kendrick Perkins suffered a strained left MCL in Boston's win over the Warriors on Tuesday night in Oakland. While Perkins is only listed as day-to-day, he is expected to miss the final three games of the Celtics' current road trip.

The good news for Perkins, who left Tuesday night's game early, is that the injury comes to his left knee. Perkins, of course, didn't make his 2010-11 debut until last month after suffering a torn right MCL and PCL in Game 6 of last season's Finals.

In Perkins' absence, the bulk of his minutes will likely go to Semih Erden, who just returned on Tuesday night. Shaquille O'Neal and Jermaine O'Neal remain out with injuries.
