Even after his busy day on Thursday, Danny Ainge still has plenty of work to do to re-stock the Celtics roster.

After watching Ainge ship big men Luke Harangody and Semih Erden to Cleveland, and Marquis Daniels to Sacramento, it's been speculated that he will be going after a buyout player — namely, Golden State center/forward Troy Murphy.

On Friday afternoon during a SportsNation chat, ESPN's Ric Bucher mentioned that Murphy was likely heading to the Celtics within the next week or so. However, that may not be the case.

According to a recent tweet by Yahoo's Marc Spears, Murphy still has not been waived by the Warriors and there are still "a lot of considerations" surrounding the decision. This could mean that Murphy is staying with Golden State, and will not be making the trek across the country to Boston.

They may be losing out on Murphy, but the Celtics are reportedly the front-runners for Leon Powe, who spent three seasons in Boston from 2006-09.
