The on-ice carnage wasn't limited to the North End of Boston on Wednesday night, as Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf laid out Canucks defender Dan Hamhuis with a controversial, leaping hit behind the Vancouver net.
There was no penalty called on Getzlaf, who clearly left his feet for the gruesome hit, as seen around the 1:20 mark in the video below.
