Tom Brady Among Most Hated NFL Players, Joining Ben Roethlisberger, Michael Vick, Brett Favre Ben Roethlisberger was never convicted for his alleged actions in a Georgia nightclub or a Lake Tahoe hotel room, but in the court of public opinion, he’ll forever be judged. Michael Vick, on the other hand, was convicted of federal felony charges for his role in a dogfighting ring, and though he served his 19 months in prison, many animal lovers will never forgive him. Brett Favre turned the public against him with about five years of hogging the spotlight, and he didn’t help himself out when alleged voicemails and cell phone pictures to a female Jets employee surfaced last year.

Agree or disagree with people’s reasons for hating these guys, but at least you can understand why they’re on a list of the most hated NFL players. Then, you have Tom Brady.

The Patriots’ quarterback’s biggest stain on his resume is that he left a pregnant Bridget Moynahan to be with supermodel Gisele Bundchen, to whom he’s been married for nearly two years. Obviously, when you’re among the best to ever play the game, some people just aren’t going to like you, and those same people have taken great joy in the fact that No. 12 hasn’t won a Super Bowl since February 2005.

Yet, dislike and hatred are two very different things, and the folks who were polled by Penn Schoen Berland voted Brady among the most disliked players in football, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Favre claimed the top spot, followed by Vick, Brady and Roethlisberger. It begs the questions: Why so much hatred for Tom Brady?
