The list of postseason awards for the Patriots, and in particular Tom Brady, got a little bit longer on Sunday.
Brady was announced as The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player for the second time in four years. The Patriots quarterback was also recently named the AP's Offensive Player of the Year as well as the only unanimous All-Pro selection.
"I feel our team really grew together over the course of the season. It was a privilege to be a part of this team," Brady told The Associated Press. "My only disappointment is that we couldn't take advantage of our opportunity in the playoffs, but hopefully we learn from that and use it as motivation toward accomplishing our goals for next season."
The now two-time MVP award winner put up incredible numbers for the 2010 season. Brady threw 36 touchdowns with only four interceptions en route to a league-best passer rating of 111.0.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was also named AP Coach of the Year earlier in the week.
