Troy Polamalu Wig, Superhero Costume Among Interesting Sights at Super Bowl Media Day (Photos) The Super Bowl media day comes but once a year, and it’s a time where everyone can let loose while preparing for the colossal event.

This year was no different, as there were plenty of laughs to be had throughout the course of the day’s events. A few members of the Steelers donned Troy Polamalu wigs during their interviews, arguing that their teammate has better hair than Packers linebacker Clay Matthews.

Matthews’ teammates on Green Bay were making quite the case for him as well, and reporter Maria Menounos was even lucky enough to touch Matthews’ mane during his interview.

Perhaps the strangest sight was the reporter wearing a superhero costume. Hey, you’ve got to stand out somehow.

All in all, the day went off without a hitch, even with the freezing temperatures and slushy roads. Check out the recap of the day in photos at the gallery link below.
