Vic ‘The Brick’ Jacobs Believes Lakers’ Recent Road Success Will Help Them in Rematch With Celtics

The rivalry wave continues to roll through Boston, as the Celtics welcome the Lakers to TD Garden  on Thursday night.

The Lakers will definitely be looking for redemption after Boston earned a 109-96 victory at the Staples Center on Jan. 30.

Los Angeles radio host Vic "The Brick" Jacobs stopped in via Skype during Wednesday's edition of NESN Daily to discuss the upcoming matchup between the longtime rivals. According to the eccentric host – who clearly is still thawing out from the chilly weather at the Super Bowl in Dallas – the Lakers have a few things going for them as they roll in to Boston.

According to "The Brick," the Lakers have been building on their success on their road, coming together for back-to-back wins against the Hornets and the Grizzlies in their last two matchups. That momentum should help in their first visit to Boston this season.

Another key to success is Ron Artest's coverage of Paul Pierce. The C's captain rattled off 32 points in L.A. on Jan. 30, and if Artest isn't on his game, The Truth could expose him again.
