With the Super Bowl on the horizon, football fans have less than a week to prepare for what could be the last NFL game for quite some time.

Players have been candid when approached on how negotiations for the new collective bargaining agreement are progressing, and Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork is no exception.

When asked by the Boston Herald about the proposed 18-game schedule, Wilfork expressed unfiltered frustration.

"I can tell you one thing. Eighteen games don’t make no sense," Wilfork told the Herald's Karen Guregian. "Eighteen games turns into 20 games because the two preseason games you have to play your veterans and your starters. So that's 20 games. If you look at it from that standpoint, it's a stupid thing.

"It's just too stupid to be adding games."
