Bart Scott became a YouTube sensation following the Jets' upset of the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round this past January when he "flew" over to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio and delivered an epic rant.

Apparently, he's trying to cash in on the meme by trademarking his exclamation, "Can't Wait!" according to Manish Mehta.

"It really took off on ESPN, it took over on YouTube. My wife said, 'You should trademark it.' Once I started to hear people were trying to make T-shirts, I said, 'I tell you what, if anybody is going to benefit off 'Can't Wait', it should be me.,'" he told ESPN.

Scott, though, says that he lost the ability to make money from the phrase when the Jets went out and fell to the Steelers in the subsequent week's AFC Championship.

In fact, he said that the shirts would likely end up overseas "keeping someone warm," much like the "Super Bowl Winner" shirts printed for the losing team.

As for what spurred his rant, Scott said that prior to the interview, he was in the midst of an argument with the Patriots mascot.
