Brandon Meriweather's name is not listed on the incident report, which was obtained by NESN.com, that detailed the events of a Feb. 28 shooting in Apopka, Fla., but the Orange County Sheriff's Office has requested to interview Meriweather about the night's events.

The Sheriff's Office has determined Meriweather was present during the shooting, but the office is "not prepared at this time to characterize or disclose Mr. Meriweather's status in this case," according to a background statement it released Thursday.

Two men, 24-year-old Quentin Taylor and 23-year-old Nico Stanley, were injured during the shooting. Taylor underwent immediate surgery due to wounds in his left cheek and the back of his head, according to the statement. Stanley was grazed by a firing round.

Taylor and Stanley have both been interviewed this week by investigators.

Police were dispatched to the crime scene at approximately 2:10 a.m., according to the incident report.
