Bruins Lucky Tuukka Rask Was on His Game During Shootout Win in Columbus

Tuukka Rask has experienced a few tough games this season, but the Bruins were lucky he was on point on Tuesday night to help them snap their four-game losing streak.

Rask was locked in position throughout the matchup against the Blue Jackets, making 32 saves in addition to three huge stops in the shootout to lead the B's to a 3-2 victory.

While Rask was playing with unbelievable skill, the rest of the Bruins looked sluggish. Former Bruin Lyndon Byers stopped in to analyze the Bruins' effort in the win, and he said that the team can no longer depend on its goaltenders to save them when they're having a rough game.

"Tuukka Rask can't be making these kinds of saves all game long," Byers said. "Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask have been saving the Bruins' butts, and it's gotta stop. In order to win in the playoffs, it's gotta stop."
