Chris Bosh Struggles Mightily As Miami Heat Lose Again, Pushing Losing Streak to Five

LeBron James did all he could. Dwyane Wade showed up and came to play. Chris Bosh, on the other hand, did nothing of the sorts, and in the end, the Miami Heat now have a season-long five-game losing streak.

The Heat fell to the Portland Trailblazers 105-96 on Tuesday night for Miami's fifth staight defeat. While James and Wade combined for 69 points, including a game-high 38 from Wade, Bosh was brutal, scoring seven points and grabbing only four rebounds. The forward was 3-of-11 from the floor and added a pair of turnovers as well for good measure.

Bosh's performance against the Blazers was a major upgrade from his last embarassing performance. On Feb. 24 against the Bulls, Bosh went 1-for-18 from the floor in a loss.

While many will see Bosh's performance Tuesday as a failure, ESPN.com's Kevin Arvonitz is apparently a pretty favorable grader. Bosh earned a C- from Arvnoitz in his postgame grades for the Heat's fifth loss in as many games.

"He was more active in the Heat's offense than his unimpressive line suggests," he wrote. "It was nice to see him diving hard to the basket on slip-screens, which produced space and opportunities for James and Wade."

In fairness to Arvonitz, he did go on to criticze Bosh's performance on the glass.

While there hasn't been any word that the Heat were crying following the Portland loss (and there likely won't be following the outlash to Sunday's loss to the Bulls), the Internet already has it covered.
