FORT MYERS, Fla. — Adrian Gonzalez will be in the lineup for the first time this spring when the Red Sox host the Florida Marlins on Saturday afternoon on NESN.

Gonzalez has been working his way back from offseason right shoulder surgery. The team had never set an exact date for his return to game action, but he is penciled in as the starting first baseman, batting third.

Boston's new first baseman will be stepping in against Marlins ace Josh Johnson, against whom he is 4-for-11 (.364) with a double and a walk.

Gonzalez will be sandwiched in the lineup by Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis. Jacoby Ellsbury, coming off a 2-for-3 effort at Minnesota on Friday, will bat leadoff. With the exception of Carl Crawford, getting a day off in left field, all the regulars are in lineup.

Mike Cameron is playing in place of Crawford. It is Cameron's first game in the outfield in several days. He had been dealing with some right knee tendinitis.

Here is the complete lineup vs. the Marlins:

1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. J.D. Drew, RF
7. Mike Cameron, LF
8. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
