Rajon Rondo, Monta Ellis Match Up in Battle of Young Star Guards at TD Garden

Rajon Rondo is used to playing 40-plus minutes every time out — it's in his blood, and that's especially the case now with Delonte West nursing an ankle injury.

The same could be said for Monta Ellis, who's the heart and soul of the Golden State Warriors. Ellis is no stranger to playing major minutes — he currently leads the NBA with 2,442 under his belt this season.

On Friday night, we'll see Rondo and Ellis go head to head for some serious minutes.

Rondo had a near triple-double (19 points, 15 assists, six rebounds) last time the two met, on Feb. 22; Ellis countered with 15 points on 6-of-18 shooting.

Time for a rematch.

Here's the lineup card for C's-Warriors:

Ray Allen, SG
Paul Pierce, SF
Kevin Garnett, PF
Nenad Krstic, C
