Red Sox Announce Opening Day Lineup, With Kevin Youkilis Batting Cleanup, Adrian Gonzalez Fifth

After months of speculation, there is at last an answer.

The Red Sox announced their Opening Day lineup on Thursday, giving everyone a full day to digest and dissect it before they take the field Friday afternoon in Texas.

Without further ado, here's the lineup.

1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. Carl Crawford, LF
4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
5. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
6. David Ortiz, DH
7. Mike Cameron, RF
8. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
9. Marco Scutaro, SS

With one of the game's best lefties on the  mound in C.J. Wilson, Red Sox manager Terry Francona elected to go with the righty Mike Cameron over J.D. Drew.
