Report: Sasha Pavlovic to Sign With Celtics

After losing out on the Corey Brewer sweepstakes, the Celtics are apparently turning to Plan B.

Free-agent forward Sasha Pavlovic will sign with the C's, according to The Boston Herald.

The 6-foot-8 veteran will round out the Celtics’ current roster, and add some much-needed depth to the forward position.

Pavlovic became a free agent after his 10-day contract with the New Orleans Hornets expired on Feb. 14. In limited action with the Hornets and Mavericks this season, Pavlovic averaged just over three points per contest in 14 games.

His biggest contributions, though, should likely come on the defensive end.
