Nothing involving the Red Sox goes unnoticed in this city, where curses have been cursed out for decades.

Sports Illustrated recently picked the Red Sox to win it all in 2011, joining ESPN among many other major outlets on the Sox bandwagon.

In its MLB preview piece, SI.com picked the Sox to win 100 games, edge the A's in the ALDS and take out the Twins in the ALCS before taking the crown away from the Giants on baseball's biggest stage.

As for the Yankees? a record of 92-70, a wild card berth and a loss to the Twins in the ALDS.
