A trio of Tampa Bay Rays learned the hard way that a major league salary can make you an easy target.

According to tampabay.com, the spring training home of Evan Longoria, David Price and Reid Brignac was broken into and burglarized on Saturday. Luckily, no one was home or injured during the robbery.

“Thank God, nobody was there,” Brignac said on Sunday. “If we were there, it would have been a different story.”

Price was actually the first to notice the break-in after coming home early from his outing. According to the report, plants were knocked over, and drawers were open.

“They took pretty much everything that was ours inside the house,” Longoria added.

The thief managed to steal a 60-inch flat-screen TV, three iPads, two Xbox game systems, headphones, jewelry and clothing. Price was hit harder than Longoria and Brignac, and lost at least $50,000 in belongings.

“David got the worst part of it,” Brignac said. “I feel bad for him.”

This is actually the second time this spring Longoria was robbed. His 1967 Camaro was stolen in Arizona earlier this spring.

As of now, there are no details on the identity of the robber(s).

Update (March 28, 4:42 p.m.): According to the St. Petersburg Times, the list of missing items includes an AK-47 that reportedly belonged to Longoria. The third basemen referred to the AK-47 as a “personal item.”

“Obviously, they’re going to say things that are taken,” Longoria told the St. Petersburg Times. “I think everything within the house is personal, and we’ll just leave it at that.”

Longoria’s stolen weapon is “perfectly legal,” according to the sheriff’s office.

“It’s definitely something that obviously you never want to have happen to you or your friends,” Longoria told reporters. “It’s twice in the past month and a month and a half for me that something has been taken.”
