Stephane Da Costa Signs With Ottawa Senators The 21-year-old Frenchman largely credited with being the key cog in the turnaround of Merrimack's hockey program is moving on to the next level.

Stephane Da Costa signed with the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, agreeing to a two-year, entry-level deal.

Da Costa, fresh off his sophomore season, had several teams seeking his services.

In 33 games in the 2010-11 season, Da Costa registered 14 goals and 31 assists, bringing his two-year totals at Merrimack to 30-60-90.
