Steven Kampfer’s Bullet From the Point Wins Captain Morgan Goal of the Week Honors

The Bruins returned home last week fresh off of a flawless six-game road trip, with the Tampa Bay Lightning coming to town for a matchup of two of the Eastern Conference's best teams.

After a scoreless first period, the Lightning grabbed the 1-0 lead, swaying momentum in their favor. Just a couple of minutes later, however, Bruins defenseman Steven Kampfer released a slap shot from the point beating Mike Smith to tie the game at one.

The goal ended up setting the stage for Milan Lucic's game-winning goal in the third period pushing the Bruins' win streak to seven games. It's Kamper's goal, though, that ended up winning Captain Morgan Goal of the Week honors.
