Texas High School Hockey State Finals Marred by Gruesome Blindside Hits, Brawl (Video)

There's news of ugly hits and cheap shots just about every night in the hockey world, but few fans expect to see it coming from the high school level.

During the closing seconds of the Texas high school state hockey finals between Keller High School and Arlington Martin (Keller won 9-3 if you're keeping track), a line brawl broke out, as seen in the video below, which was posted by Puck Daddy.

Security was needed to break things up and an Arlington Martin player reportedly received a Grade 3 concussion from a blind-side hit (which, not to condone blind-side hits, was retaliation after the Arlington Martin skater attempted to paralyze a Keller player with a blind-side hit into the boards, as seen at the :49 mark below).
