Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has gotten personal with the NFL.
If the players file an antitrust lawsuit against the league's owners, Brady and some of the league's greatest, most well-respected and marketable stars will have their names prominently displayed on the plaintiff list, according to multiple reports.
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Patriots guard Logan Mankins will also serve as plaintiffs in addition to Brady.
This move won't really do much toward ending a work stoppage, but it's not exactly a good thing for the NFL's owners, who have been the villains throughout this whole scenario. Going to court against the players is one thing, but standing in court opposite of Brady, Manning and Brees will make the events even more historic.
That's not something the NFL wants emblazoned on photographs until the end of time.
