In the wake of Friday's decerification and lockout, a whole bunch of football players have found themselves suddenly out of work.
For some, that may mean going to Canada, Europe or the UFL to play football, while it may mean nothing more than extended vacation for others.
Then, there's Baltimore Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski.
The former Notre Dame star used to have quite the career as an amateur boxer, which included over 100 fights, but he hasn't stepped into the ring since 2006, according to Yahoo Sports.
With all of this lockout madness ongoing, however, he decided to step back in the ring on Saturday, registering a TKO in the first round against Richard Bryant at the MGM Grand in Vegas.
Zbikowski normally plays football at 215, but he weighed in at 193 for the bout — giving up 32 pounds to Bryant. Clearly, it didn't matter.
