The injuries just keep coming for the Celtics. Four days after losing Delonte West to a sprained ankle, the C's are now without their other backup guard as well. Von Wafer will be out for several days with a strained right calf.

Wafer gave the Celtics a solid five minutes toward the end of the first quarter and at the beginning of the second, but with 10:48 left in the second, he knocked down a running jumper and landed hard on his right leg. He came out of the game one possession later and didn't return.

The Celtics confirmed that it was his calf, and Wafer will make sure to rest the injury carefully in the days ahead.

"I'll be out for a few days," he said. "I feel all right, just a little sore. The calf is sore. I'll be OK. I think I just sprained a muscle, that's all. I must have landed the wrong way."

Wafer joins West, Glen Davis, Shaquille O'Neal and Jermaine O'Neal on the Celtics' ever-growing injury list.

"It's not frustrating," he said. "It's just what happened, so I've just got to deal with it. I'm just going to try and get back as fast as I can."
