The 2011 Frozen Four draw has been set and, somewhat surprisingly, ECAC champion Yale has edged out WCHA champ North Dakota and Hockey East winner Boston College for the top overall seed in the 16-team tournament.

The Bulldogs will be staying very close to home in the East regional in Bridgeport, Conn., while BC will be tops in the West, North Dakota in the Midwest, and Miami (OH) in the Northeast respectively.

Miami will be at the greatest disadvantage due to their location, opening against University of New Hampshire in Manchester, N.H.

The bracket for the tournament, which begins March 25, is as follows:

East (Bridgeport)

1 Yale (#1 overall) vs. 4 Air Force
2 Union vs. 3 Minnesota-Duluth

Northeast (Manchester)

1 Miami (#4 overall) vs. 4 New Hampshire
2 Merrimack vs. 3 Notre Dame

West (St. Louis)

1 Boston College (#3 overall) vs. 4 Colo. College
2 Michigan vs. 3 Nebraska-Omaha

Midwest (Green Bay)

1 North Dakota (#2 overall) vs. 4 Rensselaer
2 Denver vs. 3 Western Michigan
