The Los Angeles Lakers were able to dodge a huge bullet on Wednesday when they got the news back about their center.

The team announced that center Andrew Bynum had an MRI on his right knee on Wednesday and results showed that he has a bone bruise. He's expected to be ready for the playoffs.

Bynum, who has an extensive history of knee injuries, left Tuesday's game with the Spurs after landing awkwardly on DeJuan Blair's foot and tweaking the knee.
