A member of the Red Sox staff from 1977 to 1989, Bob Stanley saw the team make a major transition from a slugging team to one with an emphasis on arms.

Stanley attributes that change to the arrival of Roger Clemens. On the 25th anniversary of the Rocket's 20-strikeout game against the Mariners, Stanley joined Tom Caron on Red Sox Fenway Friday to discuss Clemens' time with the Red Sox, and to give an update on Stanley's new venture, the Future Collegiate Baseball League.
