The Bruins have their hands full right now as they get ready to open their first-round series with the Canadiens on Thursday night, but they did find out where they'll be picking when the NHL draft rolls around in June.
The B's will select ninth in the first round they found out on Tuesday at the NHL draft lottery. That pick, of course, originally belonged to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but it was added to the trade that sent Phil Kessel to Toronto.
The 2011 pick will close the book on the trade that sent the young forward to Toronto in September of 2009. Boston had Toronto's first- and second-round picks in last year's draft, where they took Tyler Seguin with the No. 2 overall pick before drafting Jared Knight in the second round.
The New Jersey Devils won the draft lottery allowing them to move up four spots from the eighth spot to No. 4 overall, while the Edmonton Oilers retained the No. 1 spot, where they will have the first pick for the second consecutive year.
The rest of the order will be determined by the results of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
