Celtics' Doc Rivers, Lakers' Phil Jackson Rank Among NBA's Top 10 Coaches of the Year It's a players' league, they always say. The guys in uniform are the ones knocking down shots, crashing the boards and ultimately making the plays that decide whether or not games are won or lost.

But especially this season, the NBA is rife with interesting storylines surrounding the tacticians and motivators behind the scenes.
