Charlie Sheen Offers Dustin Pedroia-Like Suggestion to Red Sox Fans, Urges Them to 'Relax' The Boston Red Sox are 2-9. They have the single worst record and the worst ERA in Major League Baseball. For a team that many predicted would win the World Series, it’s safe to say things aren’t going as planned in the first two weeks of the season.

But fear not, Red Sox fans. Charlie Sheen is here to help.

The man who’s used weird catchphrases like “winning” and “tiger blood” to become among the most famous people in America performed at Agganis Arena in Boston on Tuesday night, and afterward, he headed over to 98.5 The Sports Hub’s studios for 90 minutes of “Warlock Radio.” He talked about pretty much everything, but when he was asked what he would tell Red Sox fans, his message was clear.

“I’d tell everybody to shut up, that they’ll bounce back,” Sheen said, according to Boston Dirt Dogs. “It’s a long season and there’s a ton of talent there and a really bitchin’ hitter’s park they play in. Relax.”

Wait a second. Early-April struggles, not living up to expectations, someone urging fans to relax. Where have we heard this before?

It sounds a whole lot like Dustin Pedroia‘s famous “Laser show, so relax” declaration from last year. Who knew Pedroia and Sheen were so alike?

Should Red Sox fans listen to Charlie Sheen’s advice? Keep in mind, he always wears Yankee hats, he donned a Tigers jersey in Detroit, an Indians jersey in Cleveland (an homage to Major League, of course) and a Celtics T-shirt in Boston. Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

“I’m not worried about knocking [David Price] out. I’m worried about the bounce the ball takes after he gets hit. It goes right to the second baseman. If we get first and third no outs, that could be a big inning for us. Instead he gets a lucky bounce. The baseball’s just not going our way right now.”

New Hampshire native Sam Fuld has had quite an impressive showing at Fenway thus far, going 5-for-10 with two doubles, a triple and a homer in his first two career games in the 99-year-old ballpark. Add in a stolen base and a nifty diving catch to rob Dustin Pedroia of a hit on Monday, and the kid is reaching Chuck Norris levels on Twitter.
