Remember the good old days six months ago when trick shot videos were so novel?
College basketball players from big names like Kyle Singler to Division II bench-warmers hit the gym with their friends and sunk bounce shots, full-courters and maybe even a kick or a header.
Then, football players caught on and joined the party, sending hail marys through the twine.
Now, though, the corporate world appears to have caught on, as David Beckham has released one that may or may not be a stealthy Diet Pepsi ad.
Beckham sinks three incredibly long barrel shots, all between sips on the soda that he’s plugging.
It’s odd to see that trick-shot videos have evolved into opportunities for product placement, but there’s one oddity that even trumps that.
