Fenway Park, Madison Square Garden, Augusta National Among Top 10 Sporting Venues The Red Sox started to unveil plans for Fenway Park's 100th anniversary which will be celebrated throughout the 2012 season.

"America's Most Beloved Ballpark" had its opening famously overshadowed by the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, but since then the old ballpark on Yawkey Way has captured the hearts and minds of Red Sox fans and baseball fans across the world.

Despite being a century old, Fenway still remains one of the top sporting venues today. What it lacks in logistics and comfort, it makes up for above and beyond in ambiance, history and nostalgia. Trips to Fenway are the highlights of summer for the young and the old as it continues to transcends generations. That is one of the reasons Fenway remains so special to so many.
