When it came to old-time hockey, diving wasn’t even in the vocabulary. But NESN’s Bruins play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards says times have changed, and diving has become an integral part of hockey — and life.

As you’d expect, Edwards has some problems with this evolution.

“It’s just a new form of lying, that’s all it is,” he said. “And it’s something that degrades everybody who watches hockey, regardless of their affiliation with one team or another.”
