Jenn Sterger stormed into the national spotlight as the FSU Cowgirl in 2005, but most people know her these days as the the former New York Jets gameday hostess who allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with future NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre.

Sterger recently sat down with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos and told the world her side of the highly publicized story.

"I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation," Sterger told ABC. "Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine. I'm not a gold digger. The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job."

The interview will appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as on Nightline on Tuesday evening.

"You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job," Sterger added. "But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That's all I wanted."

As for how this whole mess started, Sterger is clueless. She recalls a Jets employee approaching her in 2008, when she was a gameday hostess for the Jets.

"I was approached one day at the beginning of the preseason games by a man wearing a Jets badge, employee badge, who asked me, 'How would you feel if Brett Favre asked for your phone number? What would you say?'" Sterger said. "And I just looked at him, my usual smartass self. And I said, 'I'd say I like my job an awful lot. And I've been told I look remarkably like his wife.'"

Steger's resume also includes spreads in both Maxim and Playboy magazines as well as a short-lived co-hosting gig on a Versus show called The Daily Line, which was canceled after just seven months in November 2010.
