Birmingham City wing Sebastian Larsson says he wants to stay in England once his contract is up in June, and Liverpool may be the team to give him that opportunity.

According to tribalfootball, the Swede has been on Liverpool's radar ever since his agent announced that Larsson will be leaving Birmingham after the season ends.

Larsson's agent, Per Jonsson, told reporters that Birmingham has had little to no interest in re-signing the winger, and they'll be looking elsewhere once the summer hits.

"The new owners have no feelings for Sebastian and they need to realize that there has been a problem there," Jonsson said, according to Birmingham Mail. "They might have seen that but they haven't found a way around it."

Though Larsson was heavily linked with Manchester City and Newcastle at the January transfer window, Liverpool is reportedly one of the top suitors for the summer.
