Manny Pacquiao Releasing Cover of Dan Hill's 'Sometimes When We Touch' (Video) When Shaquille O'Neal unleashed rap albums in the 1990s, many fans laughed at him.

At the end of this month, when boxing champion Manny Pacquiao releases his cover of Dan Hill's 1977 ballad "Sometimes When We Touch," fans might want to think twice about mocking the eight-division champ.

Pacquiao is set to fight Shane Mosley on May 7, when he will defend his welterweight title. Roughly a week before the big bout, however, the Filipino politician will debut his cover on April 28 on The Jimmy Kimmel Show — which will technically be an encore performance for JKS fans.

"I saw Manny and heard Manny sing it on [Jimmy Kimmel Live] and I really loved the way he sang it," Hill told CBC. "I was immediately drawn to the honesty and the gentleness of his performance. It was like, 'whoa.'"

Pacquiao calls this song, his favorite ballad, one he "always listened to."
