About five months ago, Red Sox brass introduced slugger Adrian Gonzalez to Red Sox Nation.
Now, 11 games into the 2011 regular season, the Sox are holding another news conference for Gonzalez — this time to announce the first baseman's contract extension on Friday afternoon at Fenway Park.
