Robert Kraft is an NFL owner, meaning he's (obviously) on the owners' side of this whole NFL lockout fiasco. Still, the former season-ticket holder certainly sounded like a fan on Wednesday.
"It would really be criminal if we don't have football here [at Gillette Stadium] on Sundays," Kraft told CSNNE.com's Tom E. Curran. "We've got to negotiate, not litigate. We should have a deal. … We have to find a way to get the players back in."
Kraft's sentiments are indeed in line with what many football fans feel, with the exception, of course, that he's part of the group of owners that locked out the players from playing football and asked for an extra billion dollars in the next collective-bargaining agreement. So, while yes, it may be criminal if there's no football this fall, Kraft, as it stands right now, is part of the guilty party.
