The ring was awarded to a member of the Patriots staff, as it clearly states on its side, though it is being sold by “Aaron’s Empty Attic.”
The item is encrusted with 42 diamonds, one for each year of the franchise’s existence at the time of the victory.
Super Bowl XXXVI was, of course, the Pats’ first NFL championship, in which they beat the Rams 20-17 with an Adam Vinatieri game-winner.
