The Tampa Bay Rays' season got off to a rough start when they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Orioles on Friday. On Saturday, they lost their third baseman.

Evan Longoria left Saturday's game against Baltimore with what the team is calling an oblique injury, reports the St. Petersburg Times' Marc Topkin.

Longoria left after the fifth inning, but it was unclear exactly when or how Longoria tweaked the muscle. The team announced that Longoria would be re-evaluated on Sunday.
